Four Days Alone

A wilderness vigil for men in the lineage of the School of Lost Borders.

First cohort opens Spring 2027

The oldest crossing on earth

People have been walking into the wilderness alone for as long as there have been people.

Not to escape.

To remember.

The four days

You spend four days fasting on the land. No food. No phone. No book. No fire. Just you, the earth, the sky, and whatever comes.

What comes is what's been waiting.

Before and after

Before, we prepare together. We name what you're walking out for.

After, you tell the story of what happened. Other men help you read it. The story becomes a map you can use back home.

This is not:

  • A retreat

  • A vacation

  • A workshop

  • A test of toughness

This is:

  • A practice as old as humans

  • Four days alone with the truth

  • The question your body has been asking

  • An old way of listening

who are you without the noise?

This is the practice that asks.
